Kim Delaney, an American actress best known as the character Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series for which she won the Emmy Award. In addition, she was a part of series like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. She was born as the only child to a top executive from the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney grew up with her four brothers. In childhood, Delaney dreamed about becoming a court reporter. She began modelling at the age of 14 and later landed commercial roles when she moved to New York. In 1981, she starred as a naive teen in the film All My Children. Since then, Delaney has been featured in many film and television dramas. Delaney has not lived a good or satisfying personal life. This actress who's talented and gorgeous, has struggled with drinking prior to that. She has also had marriages that failed twice. In 2005, she lost the custody of her son.
